CAHSS Faculty Provides Stress Relief Workshops for Teacher Appreciation Day at NSU’s Palm Beach Campus
Recently, Judith McKay, J.D., Ph.D., faculty in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies (DCRS) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) presented three workshops on “Stress Relief,” for Teacher Appreciation Day at NSU’s Palm Beach Campus. Teachers from Palm Beach, Martin, St, Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties were invited to enjoy food, activities, workshops, and networking.
McKay’s teaching and scholarship interests include conflict coaching, intimate partner violence, community partnerships, and public policy. She is a trainer for the crisis intervention teams in law enforcement agencies and provides community workshops and training with her students.
