CAHSS Faculty Presents to the Riviera Parliament

Timothy Dixon, J.D. at The Riviera Parliament

Timothy Dixon, J.D., faculty in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) gave a presentation to members of the Riviera Parliament, an American/Israeli social organization promoting relationships with persons and groups supporting Israeli causes. The meeting was attended by about 70 of their members. His presentation was on the life of Mao Tse Tung, a Chinese communist revolutionary and founding father of the People’s Republic of China.

Dixon is an associate professor in the Department of History and Political Science in CAHSS. His teaching and research interests include terrorism, the history of American immigration, legal practice skills, and politics and foreign affairs. He is the faculty advisor for NSU’s pre-law co-educational fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta, and coach of the mock trial team.
