CAHSS Faculty Presents at the 2017 Crisis Team International Conference
Judith McKay, J.D., Ph.D., associate professor and chair of the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), recently presented at the 2017 Crisis Team International Conference held in Ft. Lauderdale, August 16-18, 2017. McKay’s presentation was entitled, “Conflict, Crisis, and Perception.”
McKay’s scholarly interests include crisis communication, organizational conflict, violence prevention and intervention, public policy, conflict coaching, student affairs, and experiential learning. She is the faculty coordinator for The Social Justice Roundtable and Community Resolution Services. With her students she is involved in the community, including training law enforcement and other agencies in crisis intervention and communication.
