CAHSS Faculty Presents at Dispute Resolution Center Conference
Alexia Georgakopoulos, Ph.D., faculty in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies (DCRS) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS), presented a workshop at the 23rd Annual Florida Dispute Resolution Conference in Orlando.
The theme of the conference was, “Treasuring the Past & The Spirit of Change.” Her presentation was entitled, “How ‘Neutrals’ Can Help Save the World: Saving Our Planet Earth and Children.”
Georgakopoulos’ areas of research and teaching interests include mediation, facilitation, intercultural communication, and conflict resolution. She is the faculty adviser to the CAHSS Conflict Resolution Community of Practice Working Group.
