CAHSS Faculty Presents at Association for Conflict Resolution Conference in Reno
Judith McKay, J.D., Ph.D., faculty and chair of the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), recently presented at the Association for Conflict Resolution’s Annual Conference held in Reno, Nevada. McKay’s presentation was titled, “The Latest Research, Trends, and Interventions in Intimate Partner Violence.”
McKay’s research and teaching interests include organizational conflict, conflict interventions, public policy, conflict coaching, mediation, experiential learning, crisis communication, and family violence. She is the faculty coordinator for The Social Justice Roundtable and Community Resolution Services. They are hosting The Story Café on Saturday, March 26 in the Alvin Sherman Library, room 2053 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. McKay and her students also provide training for the Crisis Intervention Teams in Broward County.
