CAHSS Faculty Member Presents Four Workshops on “America in Transformation”
Timothy Dixon, J.D., faculty in the Department of History and Political Science in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), presented four workshops held at the Sterling Library in Hollywood, on the topic of “America in Transition.” His talks were designed to provide historical context and contemporary insights in Election 2016.
Dixons talks included Religion, Race, and Gender in American Politics, Determining the Presidency: US Foreign Policy and World Politics, Process and Reform and The Real Issues-Election 2016. Dixon’s research and teaching interests include Constitutional History, Legal Research and Trial Advocacy, the History of Terrorism, the History of American immigration, etc.
