CAHSS Faculty Honored for Contributions to the Conflict Resolution Field
Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), received the William Kreidler Award for Distinguished Service to the field of conflict resolution.
Katz received this honor at the annual conference for the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR). This is the association’s education award given to a member who has made significant educational contributions to the field. Katz has been a conflict educator for over forty years as well as an engaged practitioner.
Katz also was a panelist at the conference. The panel was titled, “Jumping the Fence: Making Better Connections between the Academy to Field Work.” His research and teaching interests negotiation theory and practice, human factors, and organizational conflict.
