CAHSS Faculty Featured on Univision’s Despierta America on Parenting Styles
Maribel Del Rio-Roberts, Psy.D., assistant professor in the Department of Justice and Human Services at NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) was a guest on a segment of Univision’s Despierta America. She addressed the issue of parenting styles and discussed the pros and cons of different types of styles, such as the overprotective and permissive styles.
Del Rio-Roberts’ scholarly interests include autism and developmental disabilities, early childhood intervention, lifespan development, disability services administration, and adult transition issues. She also oversees the master’s program in Developmental Disabilities.
