CAHSS Faculty appear as Guest Performers in Summer Concert in South Korea

William Adams, D.M.A

William Adams, D.M.A., associate professor and Jii Hong Park, MM. adjunct professor teaching piano and staff accompanist in the Department of Performing and Visual Arts (DPVA) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) appeared as guest performers in South Korea. They were featured at the Bae Soon Ah Music Academy Summer Concert in Gwangyang, South Korea. Selections included works of Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Schubert, and Gershwin.

Adams coordinates the performing and visual arts programs in DPVA . He is an Estill Voice International Certified Master Teacher, as well as an art song specialist, opera and musical theatre performer, and arts administrator. He serves on panels which recommend funding for Broward Cultural Division’s Cultural Investment Program, the Cultural Diversity Program, and the Cultural Tourism Program. He has been the artistic director of the Renaissance City Men’s and Women’s Choirs as well as South Florida Chorale Arts, Inc.
