CAHSS Faculty and Students Publish Article on Ombuds in Higher Education
Neil Katz, Ph.D., faculty in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) and doctoral students Katherine Sosa and Lin Kovack published an article entitled, “”Ombuds and Conflict Resolution Specialists: Navigating Workplace Challenges in Higher Education.” Of note, the article was simultaneously published in the Journal of the California Caucus of Colleges and University Ombuds (Vol. xiv, 2018) and the Journal of the International Ombuds Association. (2018-1).
Katz teaches courses in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies (DCRS) which include Negotiation Theory and Practice, Organizational Conflict Intervention, and The Reflective Practitioner: Consulting Conflict and Change in Organizational Settings with Leaders in Organizational Conflict: A Four Frame Approach.
