CAHSS Faculty Addresses FL Constitution Revision Commission
Denise Crammer-Turner, Psy.D., faculty in the Department of Justice and Human Services (DJHS) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), spoke to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission on behalf of the department and Laurens Kids (with Senator Lauren Book) on revising the Florida Constitution with respect to Victims of Crimes Against Children. The Commission held a hearing at NSU in the Rick Case Arena in the Don Taft University Center on February 6. Crammer-Turner is part of the coalition of advocates, and volunteers seeking approval of an amendment to the Florida Constitution that ensures equal rights for victims of abuse and violent crimes. Crammer-Turner is also the director of the master’s in Child Protection Program.
