CAHSS and the Alvin Sherman Library Invite you a Workshop- “We love our Family: Fun Tips for Resolving Conflicts and Getting Along” on July 15
NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) and in collaboration with the Alvin Sherman Library is delighted to invite you to participate in an exciting and interactive workshop entitled, “We Love our Family: Fun tips for resolving conflicts and getting along!”
The event will take place on Saturday, July 15 from 11:00am-1:00pm in room 3018 in the Alvin Sherman Library. This interactive workshop is designed for family members, including children. All families have some conflicts; it’s how we deal with them that makes the difference. Fun activities, great tips for better communication, and how to resolve conflicts will be featured. Come and have some fun while you learn. We look forward to sharing tips for more peaceful families.
Peace Place, a part of Community Resolution Services (CRS) in CAHSS will provide presenters to help participants explore conflict and communication creatively. CRS is a practicum and volunteer site for students to collaborate with and engage the community.
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, please contact Judith McKay, J.D., Ph.D., at mckayj@nova.edu or 954-262-3060, or Stacy Allsop at the Alvin Sherman Library at 954-262-4549. We hope to see you!!
