CAHSS and NSU’s University School Collaborate on Dance Performance
NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) and NSU’s University School enjoyed a dance collaboration at this year’s Celebration of Excellence. Dance students in the Department of Performing and Visual Arts (DPVA) as well as dance students in the University School Dance Program performed together. The choreography was created by Elana Lanczi, M.F.A., DPVA faculty. Toranika Washington, M.S., is the University School Director of Dance.
“Toranika Washington and I have performed together many times, but this was our first time collaborating with our students,” said Lanczi. “It was a wonderful experience and a special performance opportunity for our students. We were thrilled to be able to honor the Miniaci family, who have been such strong arts supporters, through dance.”
