CAHSS Alum Presents at the 2017 Southeastern Conference for Public Administration
Sharon McIntyre, Ph.D., graduate of the doctoral program in Conflict Analysis and Resolution in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies (DCRS) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) presented at the Southeastern Conference for Public Administration held in Hollywood, October 4-7, 2017. The theme of the conference was “Defending Public Services in a Time of Uncertainty.” McIntyre’s presentation was entitled, “Challenges for Public Policy: Identifying and Deterring Income Inequality of Women.” She also moderated the panel, “Policy, Education, Health, and Law: Advocating, Adjudicating, and Making Policy.”
McIntyre was the NSU Overall Student of the Year in 2015. She was also the president of CAHSS’ Student Government Association.
