CAHSS Alum Named Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at FIU
Anthony DeSantis, Ph.D., doctoral graduate of the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), was appointed the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at Florida International University, Biscayne Bay Campus. He is responsible for campus life, orientation, wellness and recreation, student media, the Wolfe University Center, etc.
Prior to his current position, DeSantis was at the University of Florida, and before that, he was the Director of Housing at NSU. He has been the Florida State Director for NASPA and currently is the NASPA Region III Director. In addition to his doctoral degree, DeSantis received his M.S. in Higher Education Administration and his B.S. in Exercise Science from Barry University.
