CAHSS Alum is Traffic Coordinator for the Nissan Division of Zimmerman Advertising

Tiara Baldoni, B.A.

Tiara Baldoni, B.A.

Tiara Baldoni, B.A., 2016 graduate of the B.A. in Communication from the Department of Writing and Communication (DWC) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) was recently hired by Zimmerman Advertising as a traffic coordinator for its Nissan Division. In this role, Baldoni is responsible for ensuring a television or radio station has the appropriate media to advertise, as well as the instructions for how that media should be aired. During her first two weeks on the job, Baldoni received an award for Best Rookie of the Month.

Baldoni originally thought she wanted to be a dentist but after her first year as an undergraduate, she realized that communication was her true passion. In addition to her Communication degree, she minored in marketing.

“DWC had me well-prepared for the advertising world, because my professors were always relating everything in the classroom to real-life situations,” Baldoni said. “This not only made the coursework more interesting but also helped me understand why what I was learning was so important.”

During her time at NSU, Baldoni was involved in numerous student organizations. She served as vice president of recruitment and director of social affairs and risk management for her sorority Sigma Delta Tau; administrative assistant for the CAHSS Writing Center; a member of President’s 64 elite student leaders; communication honor society Lambda Pi Eta inductee; and as a member of the NSU Relay for Life committee.
