Jake Shilts, M.S.
Jake Shilts, M.S. a 2009 graduate of the M.S. in College Student Affairs in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) is the Director for Advisement and Career Services at Miami Dade College. Upon graduation, Shilts was named the Practicum Advisor for the Departments of Multidisciplinary Studies and Conflict Resolution Studies in CAHSS. He later moved to the Office of Undergraduate Success in COUS.
In 2015 he was hired by Miami Dade College as the Assistant Director for Advisement and Career Services. Shilts has been actively engaged with NASPA, the professional association for Student Affairs. He is completing his Ed.D. at NSU.
