CAHSS 2017 Distinguished Alum Presents on her Work and Community Engagement
Jacqueline Font- Guzmán, J.D., Ph.D., graduate of the doctoral program in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies (DCRS) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) was the featured speaker at the CAHSS Distinguished Alumni Roundtable held on November 10. Font- Guzmán discussed her current research and community engagement projects and related them to the field of conflict analysis and resolution.
Font- Guzmán is a professor of Law and Conflict Studies at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she is the Director of the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program. In addition to her doctoral degree from NSU, she earned a Juris Doctor degree from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico-Facultad de Derecho, and a Master of Health Care Administration from Saint Louis University. Font- Guzmán received a Fulbright Fellowship and served as a senior lecturer at the Carlos III University Law School in Madrid in the spring in 2012.
