Business School Professor Presents at Workshop, Conference in China

During the month of September, Bahaudin Mujtaba, D.B.A., professor of management at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, facilitated a workshop for faculty and students from the Department of Automotives at Chang, an University in Xi’an, China. The two-hour workshop was on Diversity Management and Leadership.

While in China, Professor Mujtaba presented a research paper at the KMAP conference in Xi’an. The paper was coauthored with Mike Jones, D.B.A., a graduate of the Huizenga Business School; Regina Greenwood, D.B.A., professor of management at the Huizenga Business School, and Albert Williams, Ph.D., assistant professor of finance and economics at the Huizenga Business School. The paper, which was published at the 5th International Conference on Knowledge Management in Asia Pacific (KMAP), was titled “A study of organizational culture types and knowledge management in U.S. manufacturing firms.”


While at the KMAP conference, Mujtaba also chaired the following session and papers:

  • Khodayar ABILI – Designing a human resource management system for knowledge-based SMEs in Iran.
  • Neo Kim HAI, Kuldip SINGH, Linda Teng Xiu ZHEN – eSILK  – enterprise System for Innovation Learning and Knowledge: The Singapore Armed Forces KM Journey.
