Business School Hosts Reception for Board and Council Members

The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship held its annual Board of Governors and Young Entrepreneurs Council meeting in the school’s new facility, the Grand Room in the Sales Institute on the third floor of the Carl DeSantis Building.  

Michael Fields, Ph.D., dean of the Huizenga Business School, proudly unveiled the Sales Institute and had his team elaborate on the many initiatives being taken to promote the Sales Institute and its programs. Speakers included: Charles Pettijohn, D.B.A., director of the Sales Institute and professor of marketing; Steve Harvey, assistant dean; Dennis Dannacher, executive director, Enrollment Services; Shari Saperstein, director, Office of Career  Development; and Joseph Pineda, Assistant Dean, External Affairs.  NSU Chancellor Ray Ferrero gave his State of the University address and spoke about the many opportunities that will continue upon the end of his contract in July 2011.

Following the meeting, special guests joined members for a reception to mark the birth of the Sales Institute. Guests enjoyed tours of the facility and networked in the state-of-the-art Grand Room.
