Business School Alumnus, Adjunct Professor serves as Speaker in US and England
Kenneth Baylor, D.B.A., an alumnus of the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship’s Master of Science in Leadership and Doctor of Business Administration programs, was recently the featured speaker at the Environmental Industry Association’s national conference in Atlanta, Georgia. He spoke about his research on job satisfaction and talent retention. His article titled, “Deal Breakers: What Factors Determine Job Satisfaction for Waste Industry Drivers, and What Leads Them to Quit?” was published in Waste Age Magazine and distributed at the convention.
Immediately following this speaking engagement, Baylor traveled to England to attend his graduation ceremony at the University of Oxford, where he received a postgraduate diploma in organizational leadership. In addition to receiving his diploma, Baylor was given the high honor of speaking at the ceremony on behalf of his graduating class. His speech was titled “The Greater Danger,” which was based on Michelangelo’s famous quote: “The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short, but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.”
Baylor is also an adjunct faculty member at the Huizenga School.
