Bahaudin Mujtaba, D.B.A., professor of management and international management at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, is doing research as part of his sabbatical in South and East Asian countries this Summer regarding ethics and cross-cultural differences. While in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam during May, Bahaudin delivered several three-hour workshops to more than 130 graduate students of Human Resources on the topic of “Training Managers for Fairly Developing, Disciplining and Terminating Employees.” Mujtaba was the special guest of faculty and administrators at the International School of Business (ISB) from the University of Economics – Ho Chi Minh.

While at ISB, Bahaudin was also involved in interviewing candidates for the Executive M.B.A. Program, which starts later this year. As a part of the panel, he participated in two days of interviews with nearly 25 candidates. The interviews were conducted in groups of three candidates and lasted for approximately one hour per group. Three faculty members and/or administrators asked structured questions of each candidate to determine their qualification and probability of success in the rigorous program that was jointly initiated with a Canadian university.
