Bite Into a Healthy Lifestyle

March is celebrated as National Nutrition Month. This campaign is an opportunity for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to remind individuals of the importance of a healthy, enjoyable, and balanced diet and eating pattern. So much information about food that is highlighted in the media uses scare tactics to inform the public. Optimal eating is more than one or two “super foods” and should take into account the entire eating pattern over time, the person’s healthy history, and physical activity habits.
