Baseball Earns STUEY Award for Athletic Team of the Year

The Nova Southeastern baseball team has won the 2013 Student Life Achievement Award for the Athletic Team of the Year, as announced at the annual ceremony Tuesday.
The Nova Southeastern baseball team is coming off its second appearance in the NCAA South Region Tournament. In 2013, the Sharks have carried on their traditional success and are on pace to win 30 games for the ninth-straight season.
The baseball team not only represents themselves with class on the field, but also in the community. This season, the Sharks have made an impact by assisting with programs such as the Miracle League, the Buddy Walk, and the team’s annual Christmas gift delivery at Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital.
