Author Appearance & Book Signing: Carl Hart, author of HIGH PRICE, June 27
On Thursday, June 27, Books & Books at the Museum of Art will host Carl Hart, Ph.D., for a book signing of his powerful new memoir, High Price: A Neuroscientist’s Journey of Self-Discovery That Challenges Everything You Know About Drugs and Society. The event begins at 8:00 pm.
Hart is an associate professor of Psychology in both the Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at Columbia University, and director of the Residential Studies and Methamphetamine Research Laboratories at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Hart is originally from the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area, and much of his book is about his time spent in the area as a child and teenager and his family and upbringing.
