Aspiring divas, rock stars, and music fans are invited to showcase their talent in NSU’s Mako Band. The group performs commercial and popular music and original compositions, both on and off campus. The band is looking for guitarists, percussionists, keyboard players, singers, and other musicians.

The band also performs locally for community organizations including the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
The band is open to all NSU students, faculty, and staff. Undergraduate students have the option of earning one credit for participation.
Rehearsals are held on Mondays from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Don Taft University Center, room 310. The first rehearsal is Monday, January 5, 2015. Come and learn what the Mako Band is all about.
