Art Talk | César Trasobares, Among Friends In Context
César Trasobares, whose work is featured in The Miami Generation: Revisted, will discuss his memoir that explores personal and professional connections to artists Carlos Alfonzo, Ana Mendieta and Felix González-Torres. Although working in radically different ways, the three artists were born in Cuba and tragically died at the height of their careers. Also highlighted will be the impact of the South Florida environment, politics and cultures on the work of these influential artists.
