The Art of Literature Series Presents “Hemingway’s Boat,” Oct. 20
Don’t miss this VIP Book Mixer where you’ll meet Paul Hendrickson, author of “Hemingway’s Boat,” at Books & Books in the Museum lobby on Thursday, Oct. 20, 6-7:30 p.m. A brilliantly conceived and illuminating reconsideration of a key period in the life of Ernest Hemingway that will forever change the way he is perceived and understood, Hemingway’s Boat focuses on the years 1934 to 1961.
Hemingway’s Boat is both stunningly original and deeply gripping. In addition to the lecture, a selection of fine wines and wonderful hors d’oeuvres will be served as Paul talks about how he drew upon previously unpublished material, including interviews with the author’s sons. Reservations are required, $25 per person. To RSVP, please call Gail Vilone at (954) 262-0249 or at gvilone@moafl.org.
