Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra to Present Concert, Master Class with European Opera Star Rima Tawil, Mar. 26

In partnership with the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, the Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra will present A Romantic Night of Opera, featuring European star Rima Tawil. The concert will take place on Mar. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Miniaci Performing Arts Center. French soprano Tawil will perform music by composers Mascagni, Verdi, Mozart, Leoncavallo, and others.

Prior to the concert, Ars Flores will also present Music for Munchkins – a free, 30-minute mini-concert geared toward children and their families. The event will begin at 11 a.m., also in the Miniaci Performing Arts Center.

On March 30, Tawil will also host a free voice master class for students. The class will take place from 7 to 9 p.m., in the college’s Performing and Visual Arts Wing in the Don Taft University Center, room 309. Singers who wish to participate in the master class should contact Ars Flores at 954-764-4455 or info@arsflores.com. Please include your name, age, and professor’s name and college. Participants will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.
