Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra to Present Concert, Apr. 16

In partnership with the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, the Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra will present, Beautiful Music for an Intimate Setting at NSU on Apr. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Miniaci Performing Arts Center.

The concert will include works such as Sonata for Flute and Piano by Francis Poulenc, String Quartet in A Major, Op. 13 by Felix Mendelssohn, Libertango by Astor Piazzolla, and Vocalise by Sergei Rachmaninoff. The production will also feature principal string and wind players of the orchestra.

Prior to Saturday’s concert, Ars Flores will also present Music for Munchkins, a free, 30-minute mini-concert geared toward children and their families. The event will begin at 11 a.m., also in the Miniaci Performing Arts Center.

The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences is proud to continue its community partnerships and share creative resources with local arts organizations such as Ars Flores. Tickets to Beautiful Music for an Intimate Setting, part of the college’s Resident Series, are available for $30, $20, and $10 for students and seniors.
