Ars Flores to Conclude Season with Concert by Brass Quintet, Apr. 28
In partnership with the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, the Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra will present its second annual Beautiful Music for an Intimate Setting. The concert will feature performances by the orchestra’s brass quintet.

Scheduled selections for the concert include:
Francis Poulenc’s Sextet for Woodwind Quintet and Piano
Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, with narration
Denes Agay’s Five Easy Dances
Adrien Barthe’s Passacaille
Prior to the evening’s performance, Ars Flores will offer Music for Munchkins, a free, 30-minute mini-concert geared toward children and their families. The event begins at 11:00 a.m., in the Performance Theatre of the college’s Performing and Visual Arts Wing. A reception with refreshments will follow.
Tickets for Beautiful Music for an Intimate Setting, a Resident Series event, are available for $30, $20, and $10 (students/seniors). To purchase tickets, call (954) 462-0222.
