Apply for Florida Gubernatorial Fellows Program; Deadline March 3
NSU’s Graduate Business Student Association (GBSA) recently welcomed Ted Stratton, executive director of the Gubernatorial Fellows Program, who presented information about the prestigious fellowship.
The Florida Gubernatorial Fellows Program was created from the belief that the best way to ensure Florida’s greatness is to actively educate and cultivate its future leaders.
Open to Florida undergraduate and graduate students, this non-partisan program immerses students from public and private universities in key areas of state government. The program is ideal for those students who are passionate about public service.
During their nine-month tenure in Tallahassee, Fellows receive advanced on-the-job training as well as an invaluable front-line view of the inner workings of government. As Fellows, participants fulfill roles of critical responsibility, interact closely with the state’s top leaders and employ their skills and abilities in a highly rewarding environment.
Additional information and applications for the program can be found by visiting Florida Gubernatorial Fellows application process.
Applications, transcripts and letters of recommendation for the next Fellows program are due Monday, March 3, 2014.
