Alvin Sherman Library wins Broward Family Favorite 2015 Award
Nova Southeastern University’s Alvin Sherman Library received the Broward Family Favorite 2015 Award from Broward Family Life Magazine.
Broward Family Life Magazine readers voted us as one of their Favorite places to get smart. This is the 3rd year that we have received such a distinguished honor from our patrons! Selection came from online balloting where readers shared their favorites.
The Library is committed to promoting literacy throughout our community through innovative storytimes and initiatives like “Read for the Fun of It!” and special programming and events. Receiving this award reinforces and recognizes our commitment to making a difference.
As a result of an innovative agreement between NSU and the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, the Alvin Sherman Library is a unique joint-use facility. This means that anyone who lives, works or goes to school in Broward County may apply for an Alvin Sherman Library card and access its resources.
