Allied Health and Nursing Students Celebrate National Allied Health Professions Week
Students from NSU’s College of Allied Health and Nursing (CAHN) recently celebrated National Allied Health Professions Week which recognizes the contributions of the various allied health professions to advance health care.
CAHN’s Nu Sigma Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Eta, the National Honor Society for the allied health professions, supported this recognition week by hosting a knowledge challenge to students in the Health Professions Division. Students were challenged to take a 10 question quiz that tested their knowledge of the various allied health professions. More than 200 students from both main campus and Student Educational Centers participated, with one winner randomly selected from the nine highest scorers.
The Alpha Eta Society wishes to congratulate Seth Holman, 2nd year physician assistant student, who won an iPod Touch for his knowledge of the various allied health professions.
