Africa Peace & Conflict Network at SHSS to host Film Screening, Mar. 20
The Africa Peace and Conflict Network (APCN) housed in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), will host a film screening of “Throw Down Your Heart,” on Tuesday, Mar. 20. The film features American banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck during his journey to Africa to record an album while exploring the little known African roots of the banjo.
The screening will be held in room 2081 of the Carl DeSantis Building at 2:30 pm.
This event is free and open to the public.
