9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk Seeking Participants
Patriot Insurance Company, which is donating $1 million to the City of Ft. Lauderdale to create funds that would allow Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine to provide comprehensive dental services to the children of the Ft. Lauderdale Boys & Girls Club, is hosting a 5K run to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Called the Tunnel To Towers Ft. Lauderdale 5k Run & Walk, the event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 a.m. It will be held at Huizenga Park in downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
