4th District Court of Appeal Hold Oral Arguments at Law Center

On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, the Fourth District Court of Appeal of Florida held oral arguments at NSU Shepard Broad Law Center’s main courtroom. Traveling oral arguments take the Fourth District Court of Appeal across Florida to help the public and law students learn more about the judiciary’s indispensable role in Florida government. Following the arguments, Hon. Dorian K. Damoorgian, Chief Judge, Hon. Robert M. Gross, and Hon. Melanie G. May (’81), ex officio member of NSU’s Board of Trustees and chair of the Law Center’s Board of Governors, held a Q&A session with law students. Dean Garon also hosted lunch for students, attorneys, and judges. Photos of the event can be found here.
