NSU Women’s Rowing Team Headed to the NCAA Championships
Sharks’ varsity eight
The No. 3 Nova Southeastern women’s rowing team has been selected as one of six teams to compete in the NCAA Division-II Championships, as announced by the NCAA on the evening of May 14. The three-day event will take place during May 25-27 at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J. and be co-hosted by Rider and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. This will be the Sharks’ eighth appearance at the Championships.
They will be joined in West Windsor by: No. 1 Humboldt State, No. 2 Western Washington, No. 4 Mercyhurst, No. 5 Central Oklahoma (at-large) and No. 6 Barry (at-large). The Sharks will compete in heat one of the event, going up against Western Washington and Central Oklahoma. Heat two will feature Humboldt State, Mercyhurst and Barry.
