21 Award-Winning Authors Part of Literary Feast at NSU’s Library
LitLIVE!, part of the 22nd edition of Literary Feast, recently brought 21 acclaimed authors to NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center, delighting readers of all ages.
During the free event on Mar. 20, authors met thousands of literature lovers throughout the day at panel discussions, lectures, book sales and signings. This year’s program featured an exceptional line-up of award-winning authors, including best-selling writers Russell Banks (The Reserve), Elizabeth Kostova (The Swan Thieves), Lisa See (Shanghai Girls), and mystery writer Deborah Crombie (Necessary as Blood), among others.
Sponsored for the ninth year by NSU, Literary Feast 2010 was a two-day event benefiting the Broward Public Library Foundation. In addition to LitLIVE!, Literary Feast 2010 events included:
- Novel Day for Students
- “Women, Work & the Art of Savoir Faire” Luncheon
- A Circle of Friends Breakfast Lecture with Author Joy Fielding
- A Night of Literary Feasts fundraiser.
