2015 Women’s Soccer Schedule Released

rp_primary_Women_s_SoccerThe Nova Southeastern University women’s soccer program has released its schedule for the upcoming 2015 season, beginning in early September.

The Sharks will have 16 matches on the regular season schedule, with eight each at the NSU Soccer Complex and away from Fort Lauderdale. North Carolina will be the first destination of the year, with a 7 p.m. start on Friday, Sept. 4 at Catawba (in Salisbury), and two days later at noon at Pfeiffer (Misenheimer).

The 2015 home opener will be against non-conference foe Florida Memorial on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. That next Friday, Sept. 11, it’s another out-of-conference matchup when the Sharks host North Alabama, also at 7.

The Sunshine State Conference opener is next, on the road in Lakeland against Florida Southern on Wednesday Sept. 16. The first SSC home contest is the following Saturday, Sept. 19, versus Tampa. Both begin at 7 p.m. as well.

The final home match of the year is Oct. 17 when the team takes on Rollins. The regular season ends with back-to-back road contests against Barry (Oct. 21) and Eckerd (Oct. 24), the latter as the final postseason tuneup.

The SSC Championships begins on Nov. 3 with quarterfinal matchups, then the semifinals on Nov. 6 and the final match on Sunday, Nov. 8. The NCAA Tournament starts Nov. 13, with the National Championship scheduled for Dec. 5.
