2015 Men’s Soccer Schedule Released
The Nova Southeastern University men’s soccer schedule has been released for the upcoming 2015 season.
The Sharks play nine matches on the road and seven at the NSU Soccer Complex. They will cut their teeth early with a long road trip, playing three matches in five days, from Sept. 3-7, in Clinton, Mississippi and Livingston, Alabama. The season opener on the third will be at Mississippi College at 4 p.m. central time, followed by a neutral-site match against Delta State on Sept. 5. The road trip ends at West Alabama on Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. central.
The Sharks play their first home match at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 11 against old-rivals, the St. Thomas Bobcats. Five days later, the Sharks will open up the Sunshine State Conference schedule at home against Florida Southern at 7 p.m.
From there, the Sharks will dive right into the always-brutal SSC. NSU will face No. 1 Lynn, the defending NCAA National Champions, on the road on Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. That same road trip includes a match at No. 13 Saint Leo at 7 p.m.
NSU ends the regular season with three-straight home matches: Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. against Barry, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. against Eckerd and Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. against Flagler.
The Sunshine State Conference Tournament, featuring the top-six teams in the league, will run from Nov. 3-8. NSU will be looking to qualify for the NCAA Tournament, beginning Nov. 12 and ending with the National Championship game on Dec. 5 in Pensacola, Florida.
