2015 Cross Country Schedule Released

rp_primary_Schedule_Design_xc

The Nova Southeastern University cross country team has released its schedule for the 2015 season, starting with the season-opening meet on Sept. 4 at Florida Atlantic.

The always-difficult schedule will feature five regular season cross country meets, three times of which are at NCAA Division I schools, in order to ensure both the men’s and women’s teams are ready to compete for the Sunshine State Conference and NCAA South Regional titles.

The Sharks follow up the FAU race by traveling to East Lansing, Michigan to face Michigan State on Sept. 18, then will compete in Lakeland, Florida for the first of two trips this year, with a race on Sept. 25 hosted by Florida Southern. The Sharks will compete in the Disney Classic on Oct. 10 at Disney World’s Wide World of Sports Complex, before ending the season at South Florida in Tampa.

The 2015 SSC Championship meet will be hosted by Florida Southern in Lakeland on Oct. 24. NSU will follow up with the NCAA South Regional Championship on Nov. 7 in Saint Leo, Florida. If the Sharks finish in the top three at regionals, they will head to the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championship as a team on Nov. 21 in Joplin, Missouri, hosted by Missouri Southern State.
