2015 Commencement Grad Fairs Set for NSU Bookstore

For the fourth-consecutive year, the NSU Bookstore will host a pair of Grad Fairs for 2015 commencement candidates at its main-campus University Park Plaza location at 3662 S. University Drive, in Davie, Florida. The first will take place from Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25, 2015 from noon to 5:00 p.m., and another will be held Wednesday and Thursday, June 3-4, from noon to 6:00pm. All graduates and guests are welcome.

Academic regalia ordered prior to March 27 (for the first fair) or May 8 (for the second) will be available for pickup. Representatives from Herff Jones and Balfour will be on site for personalized announcements and class ring orders. A wide variety of diploma frames will be offered for purchase and representatives from Werner Kahn Studios will photograph candidates in academic regalia. The portrait sitting is free of charge and picture proofs will be provided with no obligation to buy.

Again this year, two optional stoles are being offered that candidates can purchase and share. The first is the Stole of Gratitude, which offers candidates the opportunity to thank anyone who has helped them along the way toward graduation from college. After being worn at commencement, the new graduate presents the stole to someone who provided extraordinary help or support.

The second stole is the international sash, with its embossed country flag, signifying pride in an international student’s country of origin.
