14 Annual Orange County Drug Free Coalition Conference at NSU Orlando
The 14 Annual Orange County Drug Free Coalition Conference was held at NSU Orlando on Thursday, June 4. Topics ranged from drug treatment, intervention and recovery to the science of addiction. More than 75 people attended the conference, and had the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.
Toni Ballone, assistant director at NSU Orlando, provided information about the mental health counseling programs offered at the Orlando campus. Ballone said, “It was an honor to be amongst mental health professionals, students, and alumni who are out there every day helping our community heal from a diversity of addictions.”
