NSU recently hosted the opening reception for the 13th Annual African Presence Art Exhibition, “ASCENT: Black Women’s Expressions.” Highlights of the evening included an announcement about Realizing Potential: The Campaign for Nova Southeastern University, a tribute to NSU’s Phenomenal Women, and a fashion show showcasing African clothing.

The exhibition, which features the work of female artists as well as art with female subjects, will be on display in the Sherman Library, Cotilla Gallery, through March 4.
