11 Student-Athletes Recognized During National Signing Day at University School of NSU

Eleven student-athletes from University School of NSU’s Class of 2011 signed their National Letters-of-Intent on Feb. 2 during a National Signing Day assembly. Athletes included:

Sebastien Amedee for football at Bryant University

Morgan Barry for volleyball at University of Chicago

Justin Cooper for football at Texas Tech

Damien Dwaine for basketball at Barry University

Devin Gaulden for football at University of Wisconsin

Jessica Peck for soccer at Brandeis University

Samantha Perez for basketball at Millsaps University

Greg Rabb for football at West Point

David Sager for diving at Ithaca College

Britny Taylor for basketball at University of Tampa

Patrick Williams for football at Villanova University

“The most impressive thing about this signing class is the variety of sports and the genders,” University School’s Roger Harriott told the Sun-Sentinel. Harriot has been at the school since 2006 as football coach and PE coach and shortly thereafter became Athletic Director for the Upper School.

“I think it was important for our other students to see it because it sends a message of pride, spirit and enthusiasm throughout the school. It sends a buzz and raises the level of work ethic in every athletic program we have.”
