Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will award philanthropist Don Taft and Holy Cross Hospital CEO John C. Johnson with the university’s highest honor, the Chancellor’s Community Award, at NSU’s annual Celebration of Excellence on Jan. 21, 2010, at 6 p.m.
In an effort to prepare its class of nearly 200 freshmen for productive lives and leadership roles through academic excellence, extracurricular participation, and service to others, the University School of NSU’s entire 9th-grade class is gearing up to simultaneously complete a half-day of community service.
