Cancer Survivor Organizes Oral Cancer Walk on Feb. 23

NSU dental student and oral cancer survivor Uyen Nguyen is collaborating with the students of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, NSU chapter; Khadine Alston, D.D.S., an assistant professor of the College of Dental Medicine; and The Truth Outreach Project, Inc. to organize the 2nd Annual Oral Cancer Awareness 5K run/walk at Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill. NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine to host International Geriatrics Training Institute on Feb. 15 and 16

Held at NSU-COM’s Lifelong Learning Institute classroom located at University Park Plaza at NSU’s main Davie campus, 3420 S. University Drive, the training institute will offer a high-quality scientific program of invited speakers, a busy exhibition, and poster presentations. Between 100 to 200 attendees, many of whom will be key international opinion leaders in the field, are expected to attend.
