Meet the Director of Soul of A People: Writing America’s Story & View the Film at NSU or FIU: Jan. 22 & 23

The South Florida community is invited to join an original Florida Federal Writers’ Project writer, Stetson Kennedy, and director Andrea Kalin for a FREE screening and discussion about the film that explores this time period and its lasting impact – Soul of A People: Writing America’s Story.


Abraham Lincoln Exhibit at Alvin Sherman Library Explores the Man Behind the Legend, Runs Oct. 2-25

A new FREE exhibit, “Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times,” at Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center will explore the man behind the legend.

The free exhibit opens to the public on Friday, Oct. 2 and runs through Sunday, Oct. 26. “Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times” is a national traveling exhibition developed by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
