The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences at NSU Announces the 2008-2009 Performing and Visual Arts Season
FT. LAUDERDALE (DAVIE), FLA. – The Division of Humanities in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) has announced its 2008-2009 NSU Performing and Visual Arts Season. The offerings include drama, dance, music, a choral and orchestral concert for the holiday season, and a festival showcasing student talents in the performing and visual arts.
This year’s schedule begins with Opening Night: Say It Somehow, an evening of music, theatre, and dance from Broadway to bossa nova, featuring NSU’s most talented performers.
Show dates and times are as follows:
- Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. (Opening Night Performance)
- Oct. 4 at 8 p.m.
- Oct. 5 at 2 p.m.
All performances are open to the public and will be held in the Performance Theatre in the Performing and Visual Arts Wing of the University Center on NSU’s main campus in Davie-3301 College Ave.
Admission to the college’s performing and visual arts productions is free, but reservations are required. To reserve seats, email nsutheatre@nova.edu or call (954) 262-8179.
